Role Overview:

The Lab Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing process by verifying sample testing, data trending and analysis thus guaranteeing quality of products in terms of safety and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strict observation of GMP and GLP

Identify gaps in GMP and GLP implementation and appropriate mitigations.

Verify receipt of raw materials

Verify quarantine of raw materials and Finished products

Verify sampling of Raw materials, process water and processes.

Verify analysis of samples and interpretation of results

Data trending and analysis, OOT and OOS investigation.

Evaluate the effectiveness of laid down procedures and identify the need to review them.

Generation and review of Standard Operating procedures, Standard testing procedures Certificate of analysis etc.

Reliever to quality control analysts in analysis and other lab operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or any other relevant field.

MUST fully understand all the operations taking place in the entire quality control laboratory (chemistry and microbiology laboratory)

MUST have laboratory analytical skills.

Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems & GLP

Conversant with WHO –GMP

Computer literate with skills in data trending and analysis

Good written and oral communication skills

2- 3 Years experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical Industry will be an added advantage.
