Main Duties / Accountabilities

  • As Senior Developer, you'll build fully-fledged platforms using a range of different technologies across a spectrum of microservices.

  • You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features. You'll write clean and functional code on the front- and back-end.

  • You'll collaborate closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience.

  • You'll write reusable and maintainable code and ensure best practice and follow security protocols.

  • You'll also write and perform UI/Unit/Functional tests to optimize performance. Ultimately, your work will have direct impact on the stability and user experience of our products.

  • Mentor / Coach other team members and carry out code maintenance and reviews.

    Technical Skills / Competencies

  • Expert skills in API development in .NET Core, and Azure Cloud Services,

  • Expert skills in Signal R, B2C, Azure Front Door and Blazor.

  • Demonstrative skills in working Azure NOSQL databases mainly Azure Cosmos DB.

  • Demonstrative skills working with deployments to Azure Cloud Platform.

  • Demonstrative skills working with
    Git source control.

  • Clear evidence of continual self-learning (GitHub projects, extra-curricular development activities etc).

    Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Recognized Certifications in Microsoft Technologies are a plus

  • Clear evidence of continual self-learning (GitHub projects, extra-curricular development activities etc).

    Education and Qualifications

  • Third Level Qualification in an IT-related discipline and/or demonstrative skills acquired through self-learning platforms or commercial education institutions.

    Personal Skills

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with colleagues within a team.

  • Self-motivated, Self-starter, enthusiastic, Attention to Detail and problem solver
