Nexus Staffing Solutions Sales Manager - Retail & Home Appliances Jobs in Kenya;The Sales Manager will lead sales operations in Nairobi CBD, driving performance, managing the sales team, developing customer relationships, improving conversion, monitoring sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer experience. Candidates with proven experience selling home appliances, cookware, kitchenware, homeware, or related consumer products will have a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals

  • Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance, and provide feedback

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance

  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, customer acquisition, and repeat business

  • Monitor sales conversion and improve performance of slow‑moving products

    Retail Operations & Customer Experience

  • Oversee day‑to‑day retail sales activities

  • Ensure customers receive professional product assistance

  • Train sales team on product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions

  • Handle escalated customer enquiries and complaints

  • Monitor showroom presentation and ensure product availability

    Team Management

  • Recruit, coach, and develop sales team members

  • Conduct regular briefings and performance reviews

  • Identify training needs and recommend interventions

  • Establish accountability for sales targets and performance

  • Encourage a customer‑focused, results‑oriented culture

    Reporting & Business Development

  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports

  • Analyse sales trends, customer behaviour,
    and product performance

  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and pricing

  • Recommend initiatives to improve sales and market penetration

  • Support promotional campaigns and maintain strong client relationships

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing sales in retail

  • Experience leading and supervising a sales team

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs

  • Strong understanding of retail sales and customer conversion

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities

  • Good analytical and reporting skills

  • Customer‑service orientation

  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment

    Preferred Experience

  • Selling home appliances, kitchen appliances, cookware, kitchenware, homeware, household products, cleaning appliances, or consumer electronics
