Nexus Staffing Solutions Sales Executive - Woodworking Machinery Jobs in Kenya;The Sales Executive – Woodworking Machinery will sell professional woodworking machinery and industrial equipment to furniture manufacturers, joineries, carpentry workshops, timber processors, educational institutions and other businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for a salesperson who enjoys technical products, field sales, relationship building and closing B2B deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.

  • Prospect for furniture manufacturers, joineries, carpentry workshops, timber processors and other potential clients.

  • Promote woodworking machinery and related industrial equipment.

  • Understand customer production requirements and recommend solutions.

  • Conduct client visits, product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Generate and follow up on sales leads.

  • Prepare quotations and proposals.

  • Negotiate with customers and close sales.

  • Achieve agreed monthly sales targets.

  • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.

  • Participate in exhibitions, trade events and industry networking.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

  • Coordinate with technical teams during delivery and installation.

  • Provide appropriate after‑sales support.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Wood Technology or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ B2B sales experience.

  • Experience selling woodworking machinery, industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment or engineering products (advantageous).

  • Strong prospecting and lead‑generation skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.

  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.

  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven and commercially minded.

  • Comfortable with field sales and client visits.

    Commission Opportunity

    This is a performance‑driven role with commission based on sales.
    Your ability to generate business and close deals will directly influence your earning potential.
