Nexus Staffing Solutions Sales Executive - Construction Equipment Jobs in Kenya;The Sales Executive – Construction Equipment will identify opportunities, engage decision‑makers and convert prospects into business.

The role involves selling construction machinery and equipment to contractors, developers, engineering firms, construction companies, hardware distributors, project consultants and other commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction and industrial sectors.

  • Prospect for contractors, developers, engineering firms and potential customers.

  • Promote construction machinery and equipment and communicate value to clients.

  • Conduct field visits, client meetings and product demonstrations.

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend equipment solutions.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations.

  • Negotiate with customers and close sales.

  • Achieve agreed monthly sales targets.

  • Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships.

  • Follow up on leads and quotations until conversion or closure.

  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging opportunities.

  • Coordinate with technical teams on delivery, installation and support.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts and activity reports.

  • Provide professional after‑sales support.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ B2B sales experience.

  • Experience selling construction equipment, heavy machinery, engineering products or industrial equipment preferred.

  • Strong consultative and solution‑based selling skills.

  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close sales.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.

  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented and commercially minded.

  • Comfortable with field‑based sales and regular client visits.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline.

  • Valid driving licence an advantage.

    Commission Opportunity

    This is a performance‑driven sales role with commission on sales.
