Job Summary
Provide safe, efficient and reliable transportation services in support of the organization's daily operations.
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, compliance with traffic regulations and timely delivery of staff, clients, documents and other assigned items.
Support operational activities and contribute to efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport staff, clients, documents, equipment and other items as assigned.
Ensure timely collection and delivery of documents, materials and packages to designated locations.
Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, presentable and roadworthy condition.
Conduct daily and routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns.
Report vehicle faults, maintenance requirements and repair needs promptly.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage, fuel consumption and maintenance activities.
Ensure the vehicle has valid insurance, licenses and all required statutory documentation.
Comply fully with traffic regulations, road safety requirements and company transportation policies.
Support office errands and operational assignments as required.
Assist with logistics and administrative support duties assigned by management.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers, company assets and transported items.
Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy and confidentiality when interacting with staff, clients and stakeholders.
Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves and business needs grow.
Qualifications
Valid Kenyan Driving Licence appropriate for the class of vehicle being operated.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety requirements.
Good understanding of traffic laws and transportation regulations.
Experience
Previous professional driving experience is required.
Experience working in a corporate, business or organizational environment is
an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience operating vehicles safely and responsibly.
Good knowledge of Nairobi road networks and surrounding areas.
