Nexus Staffing Solutions Corporate Training Business Development Partner Jobs in Kenya;Nexus Staffing Solutions seeks a professional to take ownership of business development and growth of its corporate training function.

The successful partner will identify organisations with training needs, build relationships with decision‑makers, present training solutions, develop opportunities and convert them into sustainable corporate training business.

This is a performance‑based business opportunity, not salaried employment. For the right individual, there is potential for a long‑term strategic partnership, including equity/co‑founder consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy for corporate training.

  • Identify and target organisations with training and employee development needs.

  • Build and maintain relationships with HR Directors, HR Managers, L&D Managers, CEOs and business owners.

  • Generate qualified leads and secure meetings with prospective clients.

  • Present and market Nexus corporate training solutions.

  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend interventions.

  • Collaborate with Nexus team to develop customised proposals.

  • Negotiate and convert opportunities into confirmed business.

  • Cultivate strategic accounts and repeat business.

  • Identify opportunities for long‑term partnerships and annual programmes.

  • Explore referrals, networking, tenders and other channels.

  • Maintain active sales pipeline and provide regular reports.

  • Monitor market trends and emerging training needs.

  • Contribute strategies for positioning Nexus as a preferred partner.

    Ideal Candidate

  • At least 5 years’ experience in corporate training, L&D, HR consulting, professional services, B2B sales or business development.

  • Demonstrable experience in selling or developing corporate training/professional services.

  • Established network of corporate contacts, especially HR, L&D and
    senior management.

  • Strong understanding of Kenyan corporate market.

  • Proven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate and close business.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills.

  • Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Understanding of corporate decision‑making and procurement processes.

  • Track record of achieving business development or sales targets.
