Network International Business Planning and Market Development Analyst Jobs in Kenya



Support OPS Africa by coordinating inputs from regional commercial teams and key support functions into accurate, executive‑ready materials for planning, market development, performance reporting, and strategic initiatives. Use AI, automation, dashboards, and structured analysis to improve quality, reduce manual effort, and accelerate insight generation.


Key Responsibilities

Business Planning

  • Prepare reporting for management forums.

  • Run receivables aging reviews with account managers.

  • Submit timely and quality quarterly risk audits.

  • Manage annual Net Promoter Score surveys.

  • Report individual sales performance.

  • Provide weekly reporting of sales activities in each region.

  • Create and update process documents.


    Market Development

  • Create and update industry, competitor, and customer models (market share, growth projections, trends, market forces).

  • Analyze industry trends, socio‑economic and political environment, legal and regulatory issues, customers, and competitors.

  • Provide market and competitive insights through presentations and reports.

  • Supply market intelligence for strategic planning and make proactive recommendations.

  • Maintain knowledge of credible data sources and leverage them for analysis.

  • Conduct market research, data manipulation, financial modeling, and analysis.

  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to identify emerging needs.

  • Collaborate with team to enhance use of strategic analysis and intelligence.


    Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in payments industry
    (preferably in Africa).

  • Strong understanding of payments industry basics, data gathering, and strategy frameworks.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel, with aptitude to become expert.

  • Proven track record of process improvement and industry analysis.


    Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in English; Arabic and/or French highly valued.

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to address both strategic and tactical challenges.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; coordination experience in matrix structures.

  • Analytical and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.

  • High degree of independent judgment; ability to handle confidential information.

  • Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.
