Job Purpose This Product Associate role is aligned to the CIB Transactional Services Digital Transformation, Transactional, Global and Working Capital strategic growth initiatives.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the electronic banking channel, NetBank Business and NBB Mobile plus the Authentication solutions for both the legacy and new NBH channels are available for clients to transact, ensuring all support areas are trained and equipped with the necessary material to service juristic clients, provide product and technical support to the sales teams and other front-line areas, identifying product enhancements, perform user acceptance testing for servicing matters and all deployments, driving change management and driving efficiencies to achieve headline earnings.
Job Responsibilities
Product life cycle ownership.
Monitor NetBank Business, NBB Mobile and the Authentication solutions performance.
Analyse, prioritise, and drive incident resolution.
Draft, document and implement business support processes.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify enhancements.
Analyse support area MIS to identify product enhancement opportunities.
Compile different monthly reports for product, sales, and support areas.
Draft and send out servicing communications to internal stakeholders.
Perform user acceptance testing.
Manage the NetBank Business production test profile – daily and monthly reconciliation.
Conduct research to generate new product ideas, document and drive the implementation of value-adding electronic banking enhancements, prioritise and drive implementation thereof. And work with the rest of the team in testing new functionality and changes made. This is not a task driven area but a goal-oriented area - hence direction is given but the tasks to get to a result should be worked out by the individual themselves.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building
initiatives (e.g., staff surveys etc).
Participate in the development and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys to improve results.
People Specification
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Bachelors Degree in IT or Engineering
Minimum Experience Level
5 years broad based banking experience preferably with 1 year in the discipline of Product Management / Product support
Understanding configuration management; Release management and Change Management
Understanding and clarifying business requirements/ projects
