Key functions

  • Treating and vaccinating livestock, other domestic animals and poultry;

  • Training farmers on modern animal husbandry methods and animal nutrition;

  • Carrying out meat inspection;

  • Collecting and documenting data on livestock and poultry; and

  • Establishing and enforcing Quarantine

    Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Animal Health, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Husbandry or Ranch Management from a recognized institution.
    Competencies

    Project management

  • Records and information management;

  • Communicating effectively;

  • Time management and ;

  • Time management for quality standards
