NCBA Group UX/UI Designer Jobs in Kenya; Responsible for the development and improvement of client-centric journeys across Loop DFS’ channels, ensuring experiences are optimised for delivery across platforms and meet relevant KPIs. The role involves research and design for digital platforms across desktop, mobile, API and more, collaborating closely with engineering and product management to create category-leading products.
Key AccountabilitiesUX Design – 35% Design aesthetically pleasing mock-ups, flows, and production-ready visual layouts for web and mobile.
Participate in assessments of existing experiences/interfaces using analytics tools and usability best practices.
Support strategic experience design practice growth initiatives (marketing, recruitment, sales).
Influence and shape product roadmaps and key deliverables.
Customer Discovery – 35%
Connect with and understand user needs through relevant questioning and discovery.
Participate in project discovery activities (competitive research, user personas, defining site/application vision).
Work with stakeholders to gather design requirements and plan work across design phases.
Collaborate with researchers and developers to deliver informed design solutions and handovers.
Customer – 15%
Conduct stakeholder research to understand needs and pain points.
Research target audiences and competitor products.
Advocate for user-centered design principles.
Learning and Growth – 15%
Increase knowledge base and keep up with emerging UX design trends.
Job Specifications
Academic
Undergraduate degree
or equivalent in commercial, financial, or quantitative discipline.
Professional
Professional qualification in UX Design.
Desired Work Experience
Experience with business analysis.
Experience with project management delivery mechanisms (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in automated environments.
Experience designing user interfaces for digital products and services.
Extensive knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD.
Understanding of typography, colour, layout, and motion design principles.
Ability to bring ideas to life in After Effects, Invision, Framer, or Principle.
Strong domain knowledge of iOS/Android and Web platforms.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, creative, and changing environments.
Ability to meet expectations under tight timelines.
Strong knowledge of UX methodologies.
Experience running research-based workshop sessions.
