NCBA Group IT Solutions Analyst Jobs in Kenya; The purpose of the role is to implement product and process improvement initiatives within the bank for optimum value (efficiency and effectiveness), in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Financial – 10%

  • Value creation through product and process reviews to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Track and report all process improvement initiatives regularly.

  • Maintain cost efficiency in delivering projects.

    Internal Business Processes – 70%
  • Manage and execute Business Analysis efforts during the entire project lifecycle.

  • Define Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Use Cases using relevant tools and techniques.

  • Guide business units in project start-up and initiation phases, managing governance and documentation.

  • Lead business process reviews and support continuous improvement of bank systems and processes.

  • Lead testing and user acceptance processes to ensure solutions meet requirements.

  • Manage application quality assurance and help desk activities, including bug tracking and change requests.

  • Manage operational risks in design and implementation of new or changed processes and systems.

    Customer – 10%
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with business and technical teams.

  • Support integration of best practices into process re-engineering methodologies (Mission Directed Work teams, Six Sigma).

  • Communicate change, insights, and plans to cross-functional teams and management.

    Learning & Growth – 10%

  • Personal competence development.

  • Complete at least one technical certification per year.

  • Stay updated with advances in technology to
    modernize systems and processes.

  • Conduct research into project-related issues and products for continuous improvement.

    Job Specifications

    Academic

  • University degree – Upper 2nd Class or equivalent. Minimum B plain or equivalent.

    Professional

  • Business Analysis Training.

  • PMBOK or Prince 2 Training (Certification is an added advantage).

  • Lean and/or Six Sigma training (Certification is an added advantage).

  • Proficiency in office automation, banking technologies, and MS Projects.

    Others

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Reporting and presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and craft acceptable solutions.

    Desired Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business or process analyst.
