NCBA Group Head of Lifestyle Jobs in Kenya


NCBA Group Head of Lifestyle Jobs in Kenya;The Head of Lifestyle develops and implements strategies that enhance user engagement and drive long‑term loyalty within the lifestyle platform.

The role focuses on creating personalized experiences through merchant partnerships, managing community engagement, and ensuring users are actively involved with the platform.

It requires a deep understanding of user behaviour, excellent communication skills, and a passion for lifestyle segments such as wellness, fitness, travel, fashion, and other related categories.

Key Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)

Financial – 40%

  • Develop and execute strategies for user growth and engagement in lifestyle categories.

  • Optimize acquisition channels and create personalized retention strategies.

  • Lead digital marketing campaigns and implement loyalty/referral programs.

  • Develop engagement strategies to drive retention, interaction, and brand loyalty.

  • Collaborate with content and community teams to create lifestyle‑focused content.

  • Use user data to tailor engagement initiatives and dynamic user journeys.

  • Design and execute engagement campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Analyze user behaviour data to optimize strategies and measure effectiveness.

  • Develop and manage loyalty programs and referral initiatives.

  • Build relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.

  • Plan and execute in‑app or virtual events and challenges.

    Internal Business Processes – 25%

  • Collaborate with product, data science, technology, commercial, and marketing teams.

  • Provide feedback to refine platform features and ensure personalized user experience.

    Customer – 25%

  • Analyze user data to identify trends, track KPIs, and drive improvements.

  • Use A/B testing and behavioural analysis to optimize experiences.

  • Develop messaging and content tailored to lifestyle segments.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure relevance.

  • Propose new
    features or enhancements based on market insights.

    Learning & Growth – 10%

  • Commit to self‑development and building long‑term staff capability.

  • Stay updated on digital trends and technology to inform engagement strategy.

    Job Specifications

    Education

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field.

  • Equivalent working experience acceptable.

    Experience

  • Minimum 10 years in marketing, including online marketing, acquisitions, website management, paid marketing, or partnerships at senior level.

  • Proven track record in launching and driving brand/communication campaigns.

  • Experience managing budgets for high‑value projects is a bonus.

    Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong analytical skills with CRM, databases, and marketing automation.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with user‑centric mindset.

  • Data‑driven with ability to refine engagement strategies.

  • Collaborative and effective in cross‑functional teams.

  • Proactive, results‑oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, consumer orientation, and problem‑solving ability.

  • Exceptional leadership skills to influence and unify teams.
