NCBA Group Digital Channels Manager Jobs in Kenya;The Digital Channels Manager drives adoption, performance, and growth of digital banking platforms (mobile, internet, and API channels). The role focuses on customer digital platform adoption, revenue growth, and improved client experience. Responsibilities include product backlog management, change management, stakeholder communication, and continuous product iteration.

Key Accountabilities

Delivery Execution – 40%

  • Drive client adoption of digital channels through campaigns and improved experience.

  • Monitor KPIs, optimize performance, and increase revenue.

  • Apply design thinking to develop user‑centered solutions.

  • Carry out sales activities, training, and promotional strategies.

  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, and business teams for seamless integration.

  • Analyze feedback to improve usability and ensure system stability.

  • Track and report digital adoption initiatives.

  • Communicate product development progress to stakeholders.

    Prioritization & Backlog Management – 30%

  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog.

  • Develop and refine user stories with development teams.

  • Align backlog with product vision.

  • Participate in agile/waterfall meetings, coordinate testing, pilots, and launches.

  • Manage release planning, backlog execution, and validation testing.

    Service Delivery (Client Focus) – 15%

  • Achieve targeted customer experience and product metrics.

  • Analyze customer data to inform improvements.

  • Collaborate on client‑centric digital initiatives to increase adoption and retention.

  • Implement product processes and standards for consistent experience.

    Internal Business Processes (Risk & Compliance) – 10%

  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to digital finance products.

  • Prepare process documentation and change management procedures.

  • Support branch/frontline teams with training and implementation.

  • Document product metrics, root cause analysis, and mitigation plans.

  • Research best
    practices in risk and fraud prevention.

    Leadership, Learning & Growth – 5%

  • Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver digital solutions.

  • Drive continuous learning to support digital strategy execution.

    Job Specifications

    Academic

  • University degree (Upper Second Class) in relevant field.

  • Master’s degree and professional qualifications desired.

    Professional

  • Qualification in technology, data analysis, or project management required.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and PPT.

  • Human‑centered design/product management certification desired.

    Work Experience

  • 4–5 years in banking or digital financial services.

  • At least 2 years delivering customer‑facing digital solutions.

  • Proven success in channel growth and customer acquisition.

  • Experience in fintech/start‑up/telco/FMCG environments preferred.

  • Experience with cash management solutions and digital applications (web, mobile, USSD).

  • Understanding of SAAS/BAAS/PAAS and emerging tech trends.

  • Experience in cross‑functional project teams.

  • Strong communication skills with both tech and business teams.

  • Knowledge of product management methods and emerging big data platforms.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
