Purpose

  • Process Control Engineer perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate problems and perform repairs.

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the site Electrical/Automation systems to facilitate the achievement of key outputs of the Product Supply Function, Supervise electrical contractors during the installation and start-up phases of a project, Lead the testing, troubleshooting, and qualification of new equipment / processes Perform and deploy instrumentation preventive/predictive maintenance procedures according to the plant maintenance strategy. Responsible for automation project implementation

    Responsibilities

  • Implementation and support of CapEx project related to equipment automation and control.
  • Performs other similar activities as instructed by the CAPEX Projects Manager and or Engineering Manager.

  • Performs Automation System evaluations, determines automation strategy as well as hardware / software requirements. Assists with the development of the Automation Master Plan.
  • Continuous improvement of on technical availability and reliability of machine and equipment.

  • Takes measurements of work performed; keeps records of and reports on material consumption, man power and equipment used and costs involved in any electrical materials; repair and maintenance work; Monitor PLCs, meters and gauges to verify that machines work properly and analyze the results to ensure they meet company standards.

  • Prepares a completion report of activities/projects whether they have been done according to drawings/circuits and specifications, and upon the approval of the completion report, supports provisional and final acceptance;

  • Execute all tasks inline with Local Legislations and EHS
    standards. Creating good communication & information to production team.

    Job Requirements

    Education

  • BSC degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from recognized University

    Work experience

  • more than 5 years

    Language Skill

  • Advanced both verbal and written English Language

    Functional Skills

  • A proven track record of at least 5 years of stable record in multinational and standardized firms.

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholder in delivering needed electrical, automation and shop floor system design execution.

  • Ability to conduct relevant training modules for staff that deals with onboard technology.

  • Modern, energetic, self-starter, display initiative and proposes pragmatic new ideas / approaches

  • Knowledge and Skills on all PLCs, SCADA/software taking backups, re-installation,
    Good knowledge of Steam generators, DUPS,SUPS,Generators, Compressors, HVAC and other utilities equipment

  • Electrical P&ID reading and interpretation drawing & planning of Electrical maintenance including all electrical materials. Perform maintenance in all utility area of responsibility.

  • Provide & conduct daily & weekly performance evaluation & provide plan for improvement.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft Windows (MS-excel, MS-word, internet & email).

  • Good communication and arrangement skills with colleagues and contractors.

  • Good Team work with positive attitude.
