Job Responsibilities
  • interpreting and implementing Human Resource Management policies, regulations, procedures and systems;
  • analyzing utilization of human resources in the organization and advising on proper deployment;
  • identifying, designing and overseeing the implementation of training programmes based on identified needs;
  • providing guidance on development and updating of the human resource database;
  • coordinating collection and collation of information to human resource policies in the organization;
  • coordinating and overseeing implementation of training and development plans;
  • analyzing impact of human resource policies on performance;
  • coordinating preparation of personal emolument budget;
  • overseeing preparation of training projections and plans;
  • overseeing development and maintenance of human resource database;
  • coordinating staff recruitments, selection, appointments, discipline and transfers;
  • coordinating Human Resource planning;
  • coordinating Human Resource target setting;
  • coordinating implementation of performance appraisal process;
  • assessing human resources policies and practices to ensure compliance with labour laws;
  • implementing and reviewing human resource plans;
  • coordinating industrial relations and staff welfare;
  • providing advice to staff on pay and benefit system;
    coordinating the designing of training and development programmes based on both the organization’s and individual needs; and
  • ensuring compliance with statutory requirements relating to Human Resource.

    Qualifications For HR & Admin Job
  • served in the grade of Assistant Manager, Human Resource Management for a minimum period of three (3years;
  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management; Personnel Management;
  • Human Resource Development or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
    OR
  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics; Sociology; Business Administration; Public
    Administration; Commerce With Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Development;
    OR
  • Certified Public Secretary Part III or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management /Development; Personnel
    Management; Personnel Administration; Manpower Studies or its qualification from a recognised institution will be an added advantage ;
  • Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution;
  • Membership to a professional body in the Human Resource field; and
  • demonstrate outstanding professional competence as reflected in work performance and results.

    13. Senior HR Officer
    Job Responsibilities

  • administering compensation and benefit scheme;
    preparing notices and advertisement for vacant staff position,
    capturing and updating payroll and complement control data;
  • compiling information relating to recruitment, selection, appointment, discipline and transfers;
  • implementing Human Resource Management policies, regulations, procedures and systems;
  • preparing human resource reports;
  • implementing human resource decisions within existing rules, regulations and procedure;
  • coordinating training programmes;
  • updating human resource database;
  • conducting staff induction and orientation;
  • implementing work place health and safety; and
    complying with Human Resource statutory requirements.

    Qualifications For Senior HR Officer Job
  • Served in the grade of Human Resource Officer for a minimum period of three (3years;
  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management; Personnel Management ;
  • Human Resource
    Development or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; OR
  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics; Sociology; Business Administration; Public
    Administration; Commerce With Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Services/Development OR
  • Certified Public Secretary Part III or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    14. Records Management Officer
    Job Responsibilities

  • preparing indexes, classified descriptive lists, location guides and inventory lists;
  • implementing policies and procedures on records Services;
  • preserving and controlling records;
  • coordinating the receiving, sorting, opening and dispatching of mails and related registers; are maintained;
  • coordinating proper storage, custody and preservation of archives;
  • ensuring security of information, documents, files and office equipment;
  • coordinating maintenance of files, records and registry;
  • initiating appraisal and disposal of files and document advising on care, preservation and control of records;
  • developing mail management procedures, file classification and indexing;
  • organizing and streamlining registry operations;
    creating and maintaining databases for control and retrieval of records;
  • ensuring pending correspondence and bring-ups are checked and appropriate action taken;
  • overseeing proper storage, custody and preservation of archives;
  • overseeing maintenance of files, records and registry;
  • appraising and disposing of files and document in liaison with National Archives and Documentation Services;
  • transferring records to the national archives and documentation centre;
  • coordinating preparation of work plans, setting of performance targets and budget estimates; and
  • managing and developing staff.

    Qualifications For Records Management Officer Job
  • served in the grade of Record Management Officer for a minimum period of three (3years;
  • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Information Science; Records Management and Information Technology; Archives and Records Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
