Responsibilities

  • Promoting passenger car and commercial vehicle sales

  • Drive and coach the sales teams to reach the defined strategy and business targets.

  • Set annual vehicle sales budgets, appropriate action plans to support the budget and monthly variance analysis to monitor actual results achieved versus budgeted targets.

  • Monthly monitoring of unit sales Gross Profit margins as well as departmental costs so that they are in line with the company’s budgets.

  • Advice management of any proposed action plans or countermeasures for implementation to take advantage of these opportunities. This will include areas such as Model Line Up reviews, RSP & CEP Price analysis, etc.

  • Supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of units in country to ensure improved service delivery to our customers.

  • Effective in country stock management to ensure availability of units, however ensuring that we avoid overdue ageing stocks as per group guidelines. This will include monitoring of stocks, sign off new orders.

  • Identifying potential customers and market segments through on-going prospecting and customer follow ups for improved business performance and market share growth.

  • Adherence to sales processes that support the effective performance of the department and organization at large.

  • Maintain, develop, and promote effective relationships with all key stakeholders in business as well as develop effective relationships, etc.

  • Adherence to monthly reporting requirements in order to
    keep informed of current market information by means of Sales and Marketing reports, RSP analysis, monthly sales tracking, above and below the line marketing activities, planned marketing campaigns or promotions, etc.

  • Countrywide Sales Support to the various branches and sub-dealers by means of bimonthly branch visits to enhance Sales Development and customers support visits.

  • Ability to coordinate and manage brand in a professional manner and in line with the manufacturer’s standards.

  • Vehicle debtor’s book and overall timeous collection of customer payments for vehicles.

  • Develop and generate new business opportunities.

  • Understands clients’ needs and expectations.

  • Inducting and carrying out continuous training and development of the sales teams.

  • Assigned team targets by cascading and leading in the implementation National sales team strategy and targets to achieve required performance and impact on sustainability and growth.

    Requirements

  • 7 years’ experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related studies
