National Mining Corporation Principal Planning Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities will entail:

Monitoring systems for the performance of the Corporation;

Participating in preparing Corporation’s input in national and sectoral planning processes;

Participating in setting out project and programs objectives;

Analyzing of economic data on corporations’ programmes and projects;

Preparing and carrying out research studies for Corporation’s business

Preparing statistical forecasts for long term infrastructural planning.

Identifying key market drivers affecting the organization;

Developing the department’s Work plan and budget;

Developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies;

Evaluating and reviewing the implementation of the Strategic Plan, Performance Contract;

Job Specification

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

At least five (8) years’ work experience, three (3) years’ of which must have been in a supervisory role.

Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Bachelors degree in Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya.
