Qualifications

  • At least six (6) years cumulative work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Legal Clerk II or comparable position.

  • KCSE mean grade C plain.

  • Diploma in Legal Studies from a recognized institution.

  • Certificate in Records Management.

  • Certificate in Computer Applications.

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • File contracts and court documents.

  • Serve legal documents to clients and stakeholders.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date court file registry.

  • Respond to inquiries regarding cases.

  • Bring up files for briefing and action.

  • Prepare accurate quarterly case reports.

  • Compile information for preparation of pleadings.

  • Prepare, certify, serve, and follow up judgments, orders, decrees, and warrants.

  • Monitor progress of contracts and court cases.

  • Maintain and update court case diary.
