National Legal Aid Service Deputy Director - Planning Officer Jobs in Kenya



Qualifications

  • At least fifteen (15) years’ cumulative work experience, three (3) at Assistant Director Planning level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent.

  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Economic Policy, Planning & Management, Statistics, Business Administration, Project Planning & Management, or equivalent.

  • Certificate in Leadership Course.

  • Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable.

  • Valid practicing license where applicable.

  • Demonstrated merit and ability.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead development and formulation of policies, strategies, and programs.

  • Advise on capital projects to align with strategic goals.

  • Centralize appraisal and cost‑benefit analysis.

  • Support departments in developing KPIs.

  • Develop knowledge management systems and data repositories.

  • Provide standardized project planning guidelines and metrics.

  • Monitor and evaluate progress of projects and programmes.

  • Design and disseminate M&E tools.

  • Compile and disseminate M&E reports.

  • Coordinate strategic plan development and review.

  • Oversee performance contract implementation and evaluation.

  • Compile and disseminate periodic performance reports.
