Qualifications

  • At least fifteen (15) years’ cumulative work experience, three (3) at Assistant Director ICT level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, ICT Project Management, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, ICT Project Management, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Registered with CISA or equivalent ICT professional body.

  • Certificate in Leadership Course.

  • Demonstrated merit and ability.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee ICT policies, strategies, and standards.

  • Ensure compliance with ICT regulations.

  • Plan, design, and align ICT strategies.

  • Advise NLAS on ICT matters.

  • Manage intranet, internet, and web systems.

  • Administer databases and server configurations.

  • Oversee ICT procurement specifications.

  • Manage installation of software and hardware.

  • Oversee ICT systems maintenance and upgrades.

  • Provide technical support and training.

  • Maintain system security and databases.

  • Ensure prudent resource utilization.

  • Develop departmental work plans.

  • Facilitate training and research.
