National Legal Aid Service Deputy Director - Corporate Communication Jobs in Kenya



Qualifications

  • At least fifteen (15) years’ cumulative work experience, three (3) at Assistant Director Corporate Communication level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or equivalent.

  • Master’s Degree in Public Relations or Public Communication.

  • Certificate in Leadership Course.

  • Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable.

  • Valid practicing license where applicable.

  • Demonstrated merit and ability.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee development and review of corporate communication policies, strategies, and procedures.

  • Advise management on visibility and branding strategies.

  • Implement NLAS communication and branding strategy.

  • Liaise with departments to develop and disseminate IEC materials.

  • Develop and review customer service strategy.

  • Coordinate CSR programmes.

  • Manage corporate image of the Service.

  • Establish and manage stakeholder linkages.

  • Oversee departmental budgets and work plans.

  • Prepare newsletters, speeches, publications, and other materials.

  • Manage internal and external communication channels.

  • Train staff on customer and public relations.

  • Coordinate official communication with media and coverage of NLAS events.
