National Legal Aid Service Assistant Director - Administration Jobs in Kenya



Qualifications

  • At least twelve (12) years cumulative work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Administration Officer or in a comparable position.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent.

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Transport and Logistics, or equivalent.

  • Membership to a relevant professional body.

  • Certificate in Leadership Course.

  • Valid practicing license.

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise development, implementation, and review of administrative policies, strategies, standards, and procedures.

  • Manage maintenance of workplace environment.

  • Ensure environmental safety, hygiene, and sanitation.

  • Assist in management of administrative personnel.

  • Coordinate provision of transport and logistics to NLAS staff.

  • Control and monitor location and movement of equipment.

  • Keep custody of assets register.

  • Control utilization and allocation of office space and resources.

  • Coordinate maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.

  • Conduct staff performance appraisals.

  • Provide guidance in interdepartmental activities.

  • Participate in management of outsourced services.

  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Oversee preparation and submission of periodic reports.

  • Identify training needs of staff.
