Nairobi Waldorf School Ceramics Teacher Jobs in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age‑appropriate ceramics lessons for students aged 13–16.

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized art studio and kiln area.

  • Prepare lesson plans and manage material inventory (clay, glazes, tools).

  • Showcase student artwork for school exhibitions and events.

    Requirements

  • Valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

  • Demonstrated competence in hand‑building, wheel‑throwing, glazing and kiln firing.

  • Patient, encouraging teaching style suited to a Waldorf pedagogical environment.

  • Prior experience teaching ceramics in a school setting preferred.
