Nairobi Metropolitan Area Transport Authority Deputy Director - Corporate Policy, Research Jobs in Kenya; Responsible to Head of Directorate for initiating policy formulation, research, risk management, performance management, quality systems, workplans and strategic plan review.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee development and implementation of risk management framework.

  • Manage enterprise, governance, operational and technology risks.

  • Promote continuous quality improvement in line with ISO standards.

  • Advise on ISO certifications and audits.

  • Compile data for trend analysis and reporting.

  • Prepare annual quality improvement plans.

  • Review policies and procedures for compliance.

  • Develop training on quality and risk management.

  • Oversee management of risk incidents and records.

  • Partner with departments to ensure compliance.

  • Organize ISO audits and quality assurance.

    Person Specifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, 4 in management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics, Business or related.

  • Master’s degree in relevant field.

  • Certified Risk Management Professional or equivalent.

  • Member of relevant professional body.

  • Leadership and management courses (≥4 weeks each).

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
