Nairobi County Government Assistant Director, Human Resource Management Vacancies


Responsibilities

  • Organizing Human Resource Audit inspections and preparation of Audit reports;
  • Monitoring implementation of the County Public Service Board’s delegated powers and overseeing follow up of implementation of the Board’s decisions;
  • Investigating and reporting on Human Resource Management complaints and carrying out ad hoc investigations on issues that require urgent attention from the Board;
  • Preparing reports for Discipline Committee and agenda for the Board;
  • Liaising with Director HRM on discipline issues; and
  • Offering guidance and supervision to the officers below him/her.

    Qualifications

  • Served for at least seven (7) years at a middle management level in the field of Human Resource Management in the Public Service in Job Group M and above;
  • Bachelors and Masters degrees in Human Resource Management, Public/Business Administration, Industrial Relations or comparable qualification from a recognized university;
  • A Senior Management Course from a recognized institution;
  • IHRM Membership
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications;
  • Excellent Report Writing Skills and Writing of Minutes;
  • Ability to generate new ideas for performance improvement and results;
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision;
  • Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, administrative capabilities and initiative in the management of Human Resource Management functions.

    Nairobi County Government Coordinator Information Community Technology (ICT) - Contract-Job Group Q Vacancies

    Responsibilities

  • Advising on policy review and updating of existing regulations or computing management;
  • Advising on the drawing up IT plans for implementation;
  • Providing guidelines and advise to ICT project managers; and

    Qualifications

    Nairobi County Government Coordinator, Urban Planning, Environment and Housing - Contract-Job Group Q Vacancies

    Responsibilities

  • Advise the Governor on Urban planning, Environment and Housing;
  • Work with the technical team in the respective areas;

    Qualifications

    Responsibilities

  • Proactively advice on the prevention of service delivery backlogs;
  • Advice and ensure efficient and optimal service delivery in the County;
  • Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the core service delivery processes;
  • Monitor and evaluate internal automation capabilities to drive e-service delivery;
  • Drive performance improvements in service delivery areas;
  • Develop and promote service delivery standards;
  • Advice
    on citizen engagement in service delivery;
  • Promote inclusive governance in the service delivery process by gathering and analyzing information from the county residents; and
  • Support innovation coordination by various sectors and providing a forum for problem solving when needed.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from a recognized university;
  • Possession of a Masters Degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate relevant experience of not less than five (5) years in service delivery in the NGO, Private or Public Sector;
  • Demonstrate passion in service delivery and understanding of vision 2030 and Nairobi City County manifesto;
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;
  • Demonstrate professional competence in work performance and results;

    Qualifications

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
