Nairobi City County Public Service Board Sub County Administrator Jobs

Job Requirement

(i) Served for at least 7 years in Senior level.

(ii) Demonstrated understanding in Management/administration in public services.

(iii) A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Social Science or comparable qualification from a recognized University.

(iv) Have Good experience in Management and Conflict resolution.

(v) Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya

(vi) Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, administrative capabilities and initiative in work performance.

(vi) Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010

(vii) Be a Kenyan Citizen.

Job Description

(i) Co-coordinating, managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the Sub County Unit:

(ii) Developing policies and plans.

(iii) Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services.

(iv) Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service.

(v) Coordinating development activities to empower the local community.

(vi) Ensuring effective service delivery.

(vii) Promotion and coordination of peace building and conflict resolution.

(viii) Coordination of disaster management and emergency response activities in the Sub County in collaboration with other government agencies.

(ix) Offering guidance and supervision of Subordinate staff.

(x) Exercising any function and power delegated by the County Public Service board (CPSB) or any other authority.
