Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.

  • Completed one‑year internship and registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

  • Registration Certificate from Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

    Job Description

  • Screen prescriptions for validity, contraindications, and interactions.

  • Prepare and dispense medicines according to Good Dispensing Practices.

  • Counsel patients on medicine use.

  • Make extemporaneous preparations.

  • Participate in ward rounds and identify medicinal gaps.

  • Maintain daily activity log.

  • Recommend OTC medicines and make referrals.

  • Update inventory management records and registers.
