Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

  • Successfully completed one‑year internship and registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

  • Valid registration license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

    Job Description

  • Diagnose, care for, and treat diseases.

  • Perform medical and surgical procedures.

  • Prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters.

  • Manage medicines, medical instruments, and equipment.

  • Provide health education to patients and communities.

  • Maintain medical records, health information, and data.

  • Counsel patients and their relatives on diagnoses and bereavement.

  • Teach and coach medical students, nursing students, and clinical officer interns.

  • Prepare requisite documents for registration.
