Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Disaster Management, art education, Training Development disciplines in Social Sciences or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institute

  • Served at least (3) years in middle-level management in Public service in Job Group 'N' and above

  • Attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institute or, Member of a professional body

    · A Master’s degree will be an added advantage

    Skills:

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    Analytical and problem-solving skills.

    . Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for training, e-learning, and innovation management.

    Job Description

    · Responsible for designing and delivering training programs that teach Disaster Management Officers, firefighters, rescuers, and other emergency personnel.

    · Develop and implement strategies to promote innovation, training, and development within the organization.

    · Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and adaptability to emerging trends.

    · Design, develop, and oversee comprehensive training programs tailored to organizational needs.

    · Collaborate with academic institutions, industry
    experts, and training providers to deliver high-quality programs.

    · Establish partnerships with external organizations to leverage expertise and resources for training and innovation.

    · Represent the organization in industry events, workshops, and innovation forums.

    · Develop policies and guidelines for training, professional development, and innovation.

    · Manage budgets for training and development programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

    · Lead organizational change efforts to align with evolving industry trends.
