Job Requirement

· Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Public Health or Community Health, Public Safety or Emergency along with relevant experience.

· Served satisfactorily as Senior Disaster Ambulance Officer and above for at least two (3) years.

Skills:

· Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Proficiency in emergency medical protocols, triage systems, and ambulance logistics.

· Analytical skills for evaluating operational performance and implementing improvements.

Job Description

· Lead and manage disaster ambulance operations, ensuring rapid and effective emergency medical response.

· Manage ambulance fleet, medical equipment and other critical resources to maintain operational readiness

· Ensure maintenance, procurement, and optimal deployment of ambulances and emergency medical supplies

· Advocate for service enhancements, funding and innovations to strengthen ambulance services

· Oversee the training, certification and professional development of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and ambulance support staff

· Participate in disaster preparedness planning and risk reduction strategies
