Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, and Economics, Entrepreneurship or related

  • Field from a recognized University.

  • Must be a (CPA (K) holder.

  • Member of ICPAK.

  • Certificate in computer application from recognized institution.

  • Must have served as Principal Co-operative Audits for 3 years.

    Job Description

    Vetting audited accounts to ensure:

  • Adherence to statutory requirements.

  • Compliance with co-operative objectives, bylaws and other society resolutions made at general meeting.

  • Uniformity in financial reporting to enhance comparability.

  • Accuracy of the financial statements.

  • Directing and monitoring audit inspectional systems audit of co-operative societies.

  • Preparing and reviewing audit programs and work plans.

  • Evaluating and documenting the adequacy of the societies internal control systems.

  • Advise on tax matters.

  • Any other duties delegated by the deputy director
