Mwananchi Credit Ltd Branch Manager Jobs in Kenya; The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, performance, and growth of the branch. The role involves driving business development, ensuring excellent customer service, managing and developing staff, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and achieving branch profitability targets. The Branch Manager provides leadership to the branch team to ensure efficient service delivery and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and growth of deposits, lending, and revenue streams.

  • Ensure excellent customer service and client relationship management.

  • Manage and develop branch staff, including performance monitoring and coaching.

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Safeguard branch assets and ensure operational excellence.

  • Achieve branch profitability targets and monitor financial performance.

  • Oversee daily branch operations, including opening, closing, and security.

  • Submit accurate statutory and internal reports.

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field (Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration/Management).

  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10+ years in banking, with
    proven track record in branch performance, revenue growth, and staff management.

  • Experience in trade finance, business development, and client relationship management is mandatory.

  • Leadership or management training is an advantage.

    Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of bank operations and branch management.

  • Credit and lending oversight.

  • Budgeting and financial reporting.

  • Customer service management and stakeholder engagement.

  • High integrity, ethical conduct, and professionalism.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
