Mwananchi Credit Finance Manager Jobs in Kenya; Mwananchi Credit Limited seeks to recruit a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and team leadership functions, in alignment with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.

Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records with applicable standards (IFRS/GAAP).

Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to ensure financial stability.

Lead cost control initiatives and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws.

Manage financial risks and implement robust internal controls.

Supervise, mentor, and build capacity within the finance team.

Support business planning, capital structuring, and financial strategy development.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an added advantage.

CPA-K, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification is

required.

Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., ICPAK, CIMA) preferred.

Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).

Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance.
