Secretary, County Public Service Board – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparing and circulating agenda and minutes of the Board meetings;
  • Developing annual work plan for the Board with the guidance of the Chairperson;
  • Conveying the decision of the Board; and
  • Providing guidance and advise to the secretariat on matters of Ethics and good
    governance.

    Requirements and Competencies

    For appointment to this position, the candidate must:

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Not be a state or public officer;
  • Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;
  • Be a Certified Public Secretary of good standing;
  • Have a working experience of not less than five
  • years in administration and
    management;
  • Be a professional who demonstrate absence of breach of the relevant professional
    code of conduct;
  • Understand the diversity within the County;
  • Be visionary and a strategic thinker;
  • Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
  • Be a committed team player who will enable the County Government achieve her
    vision; and
  • Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
