Chairperson, County Public Service Board – 1 Post
Additional Duties and Responsibilities

The chairperson will be in-charge of Murang’a County Public Service Board and shall:-

Chair the Board meetings;

Provide strategic leadership and policy direction tor the Board; and

Maintain effective collaboration and partnership with other organs of National and
County Governments.

Qualification and Competencies

For appointment to this position, the candidate must:

Be a Kenyan Citizen;

Not be a state or public officer;

Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;

Have knowledge and working experience of not less than ten (10) years;

Understand the diversity within the County;

Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct;

Be a visionary and strategic thinker;

Understand the diversity within the County;

Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;

Be a committed team player who will enable the County Government achieve her vision;

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability; and

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
