Murang’a County is one of the five counties in the Central region of the Republic of Kenya. It is bordered to the North by Nyeri, to the South by Kiambu, to the West by Nyandarua and to the East by Kirinyaga, Embu and Machakos counties.

It lies between latitudes 0o 34’ South and 107’ South and Longitudes 36o East and 37o 27’ East. The county occupies a total area of 2,558.8Km2.

Murang’a County Public Service Board on behalf of MURANG’A COUNTY CREAMERIES wishes to advertise for the following post:

Shift Production Supervisor

Purpose

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Duties and Responsibilities

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Oversee and coach employees

Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Check production output according to
specifications

Submit reports on performance and progress

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors’ degree in food sciences /analytical chemistry OR Higher National Diploma
in Food Science or Analytical Chemistry

3 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role

Experience in using various types of production machinery and tools will be an added advantage
