Murang’a County is one of the five counties in the Central region of the Republic of Kenya. It is bordered to the North by Nyeri, to the South by Kiambu, to the West by Nyandarua and to the East by Kirinyaga, Embu and Machakos counties.

It lies between latitudes 0o 34’ South and 107’ South and Longitudes 36o East and 37o 27’ East. The county occupies a total area of 2,558.8Km2.

Murang’a County Public Service Board on behalf of MURANG’A COUNTY CREAMERIES wishes to advertise for the following post:

Milk Procurement Supervisor

Purpose

To manage and coordinate all raw milk procurement activities in the field

Duties and Responsibilities

Managing all raw milk field analysis

Accounting for all raw milk collection quantities

Supervising activities at milk collection centers

Training of staff in the field

Liaising with Kenya Dairy Board on all official matters

Liaising with farmers on issues of milk quality

Any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager

Educational Qualification and Experience

Degree in Dairy Technology.

3 years’ experience in the industry.

Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

High integrity

Ability to work extra hours

Computer literate.
