Technician/Laboratory Attendant (Electrical Engineering), Grade MNT 5 (1 Position) –
Ref: MMU/EA/10/10/2019

(a) Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-

(i) Collecting and preparing machines and equipment;

(ii) Cleaning and storing machines and equipment;

(iii) Cleaning laboratory and workshops;

(iv) Maintenance of laboratory records; and

(v) General laboratory routine.

(vi) Performing any other duties as shall be assigned by the Head of Department from time to
time.

(b) Requirements for Appointment

(i) Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution; and

(ii) Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution..

Terms and Conditions:

The above positions carry competitive remuneration packages which include among others, basic
salary, medical cover, house, transport and leave allowances.

The successful candidate for the position of Marketing Officer II/Sales Representative, Grade
MNT 8 and Cateress I (Executive Chef), Grade MNT 9 (1 Position) shall hold office on a contract
period of two (2) years.

i. HELB

ii. EACC

iii. Kenya Revenue Authority

iv. Certificate of Good Conduct

They should also provide three (3) referees who are knowledgeable about their competence and
areas of specialization, one of who must be a recent/last employer.

The referees should submit
their confidential reports in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the specific reference number,
to the address here below.
