Key Result Areas:
Design social media insertions, monitor website performance & company presence on social media platforms such as: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube among others
Design & develop creative videos, advertisements & social media posts in relation to company work
Provide technical responses & feedback in regards to compliments, complaints & queries
Develop & monitor implementation of the social media & digital strategy in line with company mission & vision
Develop engaging, innovative & creative content for regularly scheduled posts which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
Oversee all company social media channels, campaigns, and team members to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction
Research and analyze social media trends, including social media revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy
Promote corporate messaging & increase brand awareness
Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
Monitor and develop reports
on competitor activity within social media spaces. The position reports to the Marketing Manager.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Information Technology, Communication, Journalism, Media Publishing, or Marketing
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in social media management including planning & content management in a large corporate, similar setup
Experience in Adobe creative design suite of products such as Illustrator, videography & photography, Photoshop, video editing, In Design among others.
Good exposure in using open-source content management systems such as WordPress.
Experience in using Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing techniques to run effective campaigns as well as optimize the company’s website, social media pages and other content efforts.
Understanding of Facebook Business Suite insights to drive business growth.
Experience in monitoring website performance, allied metrics using Google Analytics.
