Reporting to the Officer/production Manager, the Successful Candidate Will

  • Operate production machines efficiently
    Control wastage of materials

  • Ensuring that the products produced are of good quality.

  • Ensure housekeeping guidelines are adhered to.

  • Adhere to health and safety practices.

  • To oversee housekeeping around the machine area.

  • Check the materials provided to ensure rightful amounts and materials are provided.

  • Inspect the machines regularly to ensure they are in good and operational condition.

  • Detect and report any faults to the Plant
    Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic

  • Preventive maintenance of production machines

  • Any other duties assigned by the production officer

    Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in mechanical engineering field.
    2 years of experience in a similar role.

    Skills and Competencies

  • Must have excellent communication and reading skills, an aptitude for math, physical strength and stamina, competent mechanically, ability to work in high places, ability to relate well with co-workers and a team player.
