Job Duties

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:

• Liaises with group product teams to understand product & solutions developed and follow guidelines associated for QA and testing;

• Coordinates execution of automated tests, as may be applicable, of incoming products;

• Accurately records and clearly documents all actual results compared to expected results;

• Fully documents any unexpected anomalies identified in testing with instruction of how to recreate the anomaly;

• Plays back test results to manager and subsequently group product teams and assists in the refinement of product and software requirements to insure their functionality in the OpCo;

• Develops and documents application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications;

• Communicates with developers, product managers, usability engineers and technical support specialists on product issues;

• Works with Customer Support group to help perform root cause analysis of issues found in the production environment;

• Executes implementation of the release process for tests with a positive result, under supervision of the manager;

• Resolves any escalations/critical incidents in the release process or escalate to higher level, as required;

• Ensures that all enhancements, bug

fixes, and new products are documented.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;

• A bachelors degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Telecomms engineering or other related field;

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ total experience in Product Development and/or QA and Testing or allied field is required;

• Experience in Fintech, banking or Financial Services, E-Comemrce is preferred;

• Experience in QA testing of mobile apps and platforms within a Fintech/E-Commerce environment;

• Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging markets is preferred.
