MSF - Holland Business Application Specialist Jobs in Kenya; Reporting to the Head of Office, the incumbent will be responsible for process improvements through optimal utilization of assigned platforms, by managing, developing, and maintaining functionality and supporting end users.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Tools Programming & Development

Implement, maintain, and support new and existing automation tools.

Website Management

Manage and upgrade KO website in collaboration with ICT HQ team.

Ensure functionality, domain hosting, and security management in Microsoft Azure.

Input specific data and content into website tools as required.

Online Catalogue Maintenance

Implement and maintain KO Online Catalogue.

Ensure product list is up‑to‑date with codes, photos, and videos.

Collaborate with SPINCO and UF teams to ensure API integration of products.

Data Security & Compliance

Ensure data security and encryption for KO websites, tools, and systems.

Implement secure IT and data protocols in compliance with Data Protection Act and MSF standards.

Programming Projects Oversight

Manage programming projects through development, testing, and implementation phases.

Provide updates and support project teams to ensure adherence to MSF standards.

Training & Documentation

Prepare training manuals/presentations for KO tools and systems.

Develop detailed system guidelines for developers as backup for HQ ICT.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform unit testing and other forms of testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Identify and resolve issues across the application stack.

Maintain and upgrade existing modules and systems for efficiency, scalability, and security.

Support to Nairobi BIOMED Hub (NBIOCA)

Advise and support on audio/video tutorials, AR/VR tutorials, and 3D printing initiatives.

Continuous Learning

Keep

up‑to‑date with latest releases and features of systems.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or Business IT.

Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in application development and implementation.

Languages

Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

Knowledge

Linux‑based systems, Git/GitHub version control.

Strong proficiency in Python programming.

In‑depth knowledge of Odoo framework and modules.

Server‑side languages and debugging.

Technical expertise in IT systems and programming (Python, SQL Server, Flutter, HTML/CSS, jQuery, XML, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Angular, Power Apps, MS SharePoint, MS Automate, Open ERP/Odoo, MS Azure, Linux OS, Windows OS).

Familiarity with data security protocols and compliance standards.

Ability to prepare training materials and system documentation.

Effective collaboration and communication skills.
