Mr Price Group Head of Marketing Miladys Jobs in South Africa;Miladys, one of South Africa’s most loved fashion brands, is seeking a bold, visionary Head of Marketing to shape and drive the brand into the future.

This leadership role takes full ownership of the marketing function, leading a team of six direct reports and collaborating across the broader MR Price Group ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Formulate, lead, and measure implementation of the marketing strategic storytelling

  • Contribute to overall company strategy and ensure clear communication across the business

    Brand Communication & Customer Experience

  • Develop and implement integrated brand communication across ATL, BTL, digital, social, PR, promotions, and advertising

    Visual Brand Experience

  • Lead seasonal window displays, in‑store concepts, and visual merchandising with seamless execution

    Customer Centricity

  • Champion customer‑first culture, ensuring Brand DNA and communications reflect customer needs

    Customer Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with Mr Price Money and Operations to implement segmented credit and club communication strategies

    Research & Insights

  • Monitor retail and consumer market trends and competitor activity

  • Deliver actionable customer insights to stakeholders

    People Leadership

  • Inspire and lead the marketing team to achieve KPIs and strategy

  • Drive training, coaching, talent management,
    succession planning, and high‑performance culture

    Financial Management

  • Oversee significant marketing overhead budget

  • Ensure financial planning, budgeting discipline, and ROI accountability

    Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Post‑Graduate Degree preferred)

  • 8 years’ relevant experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles

  • Proven expertise in customer strategy, social and digital marketing, and brand management

  • Strong financial acumen and commercial understanding of fashion apparel merchandising

  • Solid people management skills with talent development and succession planning experience

  • In‑depth fashion apparel retail knowledge and market intelligence capability

  • Exceptional analytical ability and research interpretation skills

  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
