Mr Price Group Assistant Store Manager - Mr Price Norwood Mall Jobs in South Africa ; To support the Store Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring store objectives, sales targets, and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

  • Ensure stock is accurately received, unpacked, and replenished on the sales floor.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels to mitigate risks and ensure availability.

  • Oversee stockroom maintenance to meet housekeeping standards.

  • Authorise write‑offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

    Sales Growth & Profitability
  • Analyse sales and profitability reports to inform operational action plans.

  • Review product performance and provide feedback to support centre.

  • Identify and propose opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.

    Risk Management
  • Conduct compliance checks to enforce adherence to policies and procedures.

    Customer Experience Management
  • Implement customer experience processes to meet service standards.

    Leadership & Development
  • Lead and drive the team to achieve KPIs and operational strategy.

  • Identify training, coaching, and development needs.

  • Recruit, administer, and manage performance in line with company policies.

    Qualifications

  • Grade 12.

  • 2–3 years’ supervisory or assistant store management experience.

  • Understanding of sales and service management.

  • Budgeting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Knowledge of retail trade, brand, customer, and product.\
