Job Description

Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an Ethiopian resident charity organization registered in accordance with the Agency For Civil Society proclamation No 1113/2019 Organization with registry No 0022.

MCMDO currently is being implementing more than 24 projects and development activities in Oromiya, SNNPR, Somali, Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz , Tigray, Amhara, Harari, Dire Dawa and City Administration of Addis Ababa.

To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant position.

Type of Employment:

24 month Contract

Job Requirements

Qualification

BA or MA in Sociology/development studies , project management and other related fields 5 or 3 years of work experience respectively

Experience

Minimum of three years of demonstrable work experience as project coordinator in project related to child protection & program management skill especially in childcare center, rehabilitation center or other similar establishment is more preferable.

Management, project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.

Good understanding of child protection standards

Good understanding of logistic and supply chain management

Good knowledge of local context

NGO experience is a requirement

Ability to work in under pressure

Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment

A good level of computer literacy (word, excel, ppt etc)
