Job Description

Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is an Ethiopian resident charity organization registered in accordance with the Agency For Civil Society proclamation No 1113/2019 Organization with registry No 0022.

MCMDO currently is being implementing more than 24 projects and development activities in Oromiya, SNNPR, Somali, Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz , Tigray, Amhara, Harari, Dire Dawa and City Administration of Addis Ababa.


To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant position.

Job Requirements

Qualification

BA or MA in Economics, Marketing (or equivalent) in a discipline related to Commerce, Economics, Business management and administration or related field of study 5 or 3 years of work experience respectively

Experience

Minimum three years of previous demonstrable work experiences as

livelihood officer and extensive experience with and knowledge of best practice interventions and approaches designed to improve household economic status and expand livelihoods options and opportunities

Excellent knowledge of household finance education / capacity-building approaches;

Significant experience on programs which includes vulnerable and marginalized populations (e.g. adolescent girls and young women)

Preferably experience with street based programs in Ethiopia is an added advantage.

NGO experience is a requirement Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.

A good level of computer literacy (word, excel, ppt etc)
