    Duties & Responsibilities
    •Management of all equipment.
    •Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet.
    •Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles.
    •Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
    •Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules.
    •Coordinating Drivers and on-staff maintenance professionals when setting employee schedules.
    •Managing vehicle licensure and registration.
    •Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training.
    •Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
    •Searching for, hiring, and training
    new Drivers.
    •Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress.
    •Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
    •Controlling and planning of maintenance for all equipment.


    Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
    •Higher national diploma in Mechanical engineering or training/certificates in a related field with 10 years' experience handling construction machines, equipment and fleet repair and maintenance will be considered in lieu of the required diploma.
    •10 years of proven work experience and knowledge in fleet operations, with advanced skills in resolving emergency situations (PHASE) managing Quality and Safety Audits, Troubleshooting CAT, TPM (total preventive maintenance) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), ability to dragonize, identify and purchase parts for maintenance process.
    •Competent with equipment operation requirements and procedures, proven knowledge in welding using advanced machines like Mig Mag and electrode welding machine, cutting torches and Plasma machine and ability to operate heavy machinery.
    •Experience in the transportation industry.
    •Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
    •Outstanding organizational skills.
    •Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
    •Quantitative ability.
    •Attention to detail.
    •Good team management skills.
    •Taxes/Import and Export procedures (Preferential)
