Job Description

General Overview of the job

The major role of this position holder is effectively promote services on roadshow events, manage clients professionally, and use the assigned resources wisely.

The promotion officer implements the road show plan, works hand in hand with the stakeholders, proactively solve issues and produces reports.

Detail duties and responsibilities:

Create smooth relationship as well as communication with the MFI branch staffs and agents.

Manage to arrange effective roadshow promotions in the assigned areas by demonstrating effective team work with the other team members

Arrange, effectively use and take care logistics of the promotional materials

Make sure the promotional materials are serving the purpose

Actively promote M-birr services to the roadshow potential customers

Handing over flyers to the roadshow potential customers

Guide interested customers to the Branch offices and agents in order for them to use M-Birr services

Apply different creative and appropriate ways of promotions for the roadshows
Wisely handle unexpected issues if happen during service, by communicating with the supervisor on time

Report and share daily activities of the road shows

Job Requirements

Competencies and Skills

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to promote services to existing and potential customers

Ability to listen to the customer and understand their need.

Actively contributes to the work of the team and sets a good example; accepts responsibility for own decisions.

Ability to Promote a positive image of the Company

Ability to Negotiate

Excellent command of Amharic or Afan Ormo languages (depending on the area applied)

Education and experience

College diploma

1 year experience in sales, campaigns, road show or related works
