    We are looking for a strong and experienced Advisor to lead Monitoring and Evaluation for the cultural transformation for data use for decision making activities under an anticipate 5 years USAID-funded electronic Health Information System activity.

    Essential Functions

  • You will work under the supervision of the MERL Manager, in close collaboration with the strategy and the change management teams.

    More specifically you will

  • Contribute to the assessment and improvement of data quality
  • Provide technical support on quality data-capturing and transmission at regional and sub-regional levels
  • Oversee the
    use of data for decision making
  • Ensure regular complete, timely and accurate reporting at regional and sub-regional levels
  • Provide technical support to the conduct of regular data quality assurance (DQA) activities at regional and sub-regional levels
  • Identify, document and share lessons on data quality and use
  • Provide technical support in the coordination of supportive visits for training and mentoring purposes
  • Identify gaps and plan and execute capacity building activities around data quality and use

    Job Requirements

    Your background

  • A degree in public health, epidemiology, monitoring & evaluation, demography, biostatistics, or statistics or any other similar field
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in establishing/ designing M&E systems and tools, and managing data-intensive programs, preferably in health
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative M&E data collection and analysis methods, including tracking outcome indicators
  • Experience in program quality management and operational research
  • Experience in M&E and data quality management related to health programs
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in data-capturing and reporting
